  Not too thoroughly impressed with the meals that I pre-ordered to be delivered by our meetup group's "deliverer". While the meal was made to order, I almost didn't get what I requested. From the online ordering system that I was provided, I got the Caesar salad with grilled chicken, but nothing was said as to how the chicken would be made. Most places nearer me grill their chicken and present it, and although I know it was kept in storage until I got to the "delivery location" at a location on Emerson Street, my meal wasn't indeed perfect: The chicken got cold (maybe could have been prevented), but was also a little spicy (something I'm unused to coming from NY).
  
  Not too sure where this place's actual location was. The Yelp pin says it was within a block or two of where we were staying, but I sure didn't see it on any of my walks between the two places (Hotel Keen and a very walkable address nearby).
  
  I've learned from others in the group that some of those meals weren't made specifically to order, but they were still edible. Maybe more attention to detail is necessary here. However, it might just be everyone's tastes.
  
  I was astounded by your small beverage menu here. Boyland Root Beer is hard to find near me, and find it more than 2200 miles away by this little café is unlikely to have been found, and I thank you. One of my closer cafes in Dutchess County NY uses Boyland, and I always choose root beer, but very few places I find use the same. So this was exceptional for me to find. Thank you.

  I like the place and come here once or twice a week. I dine in a lot and often my salad takes too long, and I notice my meal sometimes gets deprioritized for a large take out order or doordash order. If you're dining in I really think they need to keep your order in the same order as what they received or have someone making in store orders only, or else it's just a terrible experience imo
  
  Update: waited 30m and just got a refund instead. They were super nice and understanding about it. Great staff. Just awful wait

  I am surprised I have never heard about this place until today!
  
  Sprout cafe is conveniently located on University Ave. when you walk in you can either choose from the the salads, sandwiches they have on the menu or you can create your own salad. I went with a salad on the menu for my first time.
  
  I got the Davy and it was tooo good! It came with salmon, arugula, walnuts, goat cheese and sesame seed dressing. I loved how fresh it was! I feel the price was reasonable total around $14.

  Gave sprout another chance, stuck with the chipotle chicken sandwich and I remembered why I used to love this place.

  I may have found a new go-to salad! I needed something super filling for a lunch delivery at the office and got:
  
  * Steakhouse Salad (+Avocado for $1.50, total $14.34) - 4 stars
  Very filling, very hearty, and the caesar dressing brought it all together nicely.
